Sydney- Day 2

The Blue Mountains lived up to their reputation! We were wowed once again by the beauty we saw!  The word “saw” being a key word. Our drive into the park was sunny and beautiful! We viewed the rolling hills and rainforest from the highway, but as we arrived to our first stop, so did the clouds!

Nick, Judy, Nancy, Gale

We stopped at Scenic World and decided to do all the rides offered despite the weather. We were so glad we did! One of the rides was the steepest incline rail in the world! The sun peeked out making our final ride absolutely beautiful! So…needless to say, we didn’t see as much as we hoped, but what we DID see was impressive!

The hams…

Our guide took us on a walk in the rainforest…while it was raining.

We also spent some time at Featherdale Park where we could meet some more native animals and interact with them! We wish we could share the videos of the animals so you could also appreciate the variety and uniqueness of all these creatures God made that live in Australia!

Wow, your photos have been incredibly interesting throughout your journey. We had taken the same HAL cruise last Nov., but now these extra days of touring make me envious indeed. God’s fabulous creativity in His creation around our beautiful world always astound us. Thanks for sharing!!!
